In the fall of 2007 TAB Welding started as a welding subcontractor in Calgary, AB. taking on many piping jobs throughout the city and surrounding area, some of these jobs included boiler upgrades at the Calgary Saddle Dome, the Nexen Building and Hotel Arts Building. As well as new pipe construction at Alberta Processors, IKO Industries, SAIT, University of Calgary, and Eighth Avenue Place.
In the fall of 2010 TAB Welding went on to become a direct service provider for new construction pipelines offering B-Pressure welding for several pipeline contractors. In December of 2012 TAB Welding purchased a shop and yard located in Roblin, MB. to begin offering repairs and maintenance to agricultural and forestry equipment, as well as offer aluminum welding for all types of industry.
In the summer of 2013 TAB Welding became a part of the automated pipeline welding world, learning many valuable aspects from the rig up of automated welding jobs to the many fine details to keep an automated welding job effective in quality and in production.
In the spring of 2016 TAB Welding helped design a welding setup to complete fully low hydrogen wire welds on pipeline tie-ins, as well as provided on the job trouble shooting for automated mainline production.
